Originally formed under the name of the Dullstroom Association in the 1990’s with the aim of protecting and promoting Dullstroom as a sought-after, pleasant country town, the name of the association was changed in around 2003 to the current name partly due to the launch of a political party bearing the same initials.

The Association maintained a membership of around 180 local ratepayers/residents until 2015 when the Walkerson’s Homeowners Association voted in favour of full membership of all it’s members leading to a current membership of around 280 people.

Although named as a ratepayers association, membership is open to all residents and businesses irrespective of actual ownership of property in Dullstroom.

Whilst we continue to strive for these objectives, we are also largely dependant on the willingness of the Municipality and other authorities who, in many cases, appear to have different objectives.
